Visit to Mayor of the City of Portland – April 04, 2012

Turkish Cultural Center Maine (TCCME) Turkish American Business Improvement and Development Council New England (TABID New England) Marmara Bahar Businessmen Union (MABIAD) visited Mayor Michael Brennan of Portland. MABIAD president M. Emin Kose delivered the sister city letter from Uskudar Municipality  President Mustafa Kara to the Mayor. Mayor Brannin expressed his contentment of the visit. He also wished the relationships get stronger. President expressed his happiness with planned establishment of the Turkish Cultural Center and Businessmen union in Portland. He also said that he would love to visit Turkey. In the meeting, Director of the Economy of Portland Gregory Mitchell indicated the importance of the economic relation between Maine and Turkey.
